Let's get right to the point of Peak Oil. We need to grow our own, locally produced, distributed and used liquid fuel. Many millions of dollars have been spent on trying to squeeze energy out of plants, especially in the form of liquid fuels. My small, under-funded company has tackled the problems of growing algae, extracting the oil and making the algal oil into biodiesel (B99). I have solutions (on paper).

If you really want to dig deep into the science and engineering, then travel to the AlgalOilDiesel WikiWebSite andpick out the articles of interest in the table of contents.
